Whow, what a difference! It rock's. I heard it in that track combination: 10 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16 / 25 / (27) I want to alter some instrumentals to get a better match for this (weekend). Please don't overwrite/delete the other vocal version.

Glad you like it, I will make another recording of both versions (and save the old ones in case I mess them up) and then probably another when I have the cash to pick up a usb mic interface and a good mic. Need too save up 3-400 dollars for that though so it may be a bit. Anyways, I was thinking with this version some sax, trumpet, or harmonica would sound good in the chorus. Sorry about changing the arrangement so much, I just needed a little soul in it. :]

I think the chorus should be a female singer also you should change this too a duet have a woman singing the same blues as both lovers feel the pain of being apart after the female's parts the male should sing the chorus and after the males the female (by chorus I mean the track chorus not the entire chorus just the voice overs though when the male is singing the chorus track the female should sing the chorus itself.)

Hey, well done! I like it! ;-) You are a really good singer! Female chorus singers is a good idea. I think the changed lyrics are perfect. Only the "now" of "But its now too late now" is double. Beginning from "I have a large bed to share" you switch into a deeper feeling. This is very nice. I'm wonderingn it this "feeling" wouldn't apply for the first part of the song as well. You are right. Your microphone sounds extremely clear without any lower frequences. A bit like "phone" sound. Not sure, but I think I heard some clipping too. Did you record/export in good quality like .wav or .aiff ? If so and if there is no clipping I could try to adjust the bass a bit. But only worth it if the recording/exporting quality is sufficient.

I changed it too it's not too late, my reasoning for this is the lyrics make it seem like the writer (you) didn't want it too be over at the time and the song is directed too her so for her it's not too later she could come back telling her it is too late would be against everything else the song unless if it was changed to be self directed or from a female singer telling the male it's too late.

Hallo Howie, gefällt mit inzwischen sehr gut! Ich hab mal experimentiert und zwei Tracks hochgeladen. Das eine sind zusätzliche Strings zu diesem Track hier, also kein Ersatz, sondern wenn dann als Ergänzung!! Wenn man sich NUR die zwei Strings zusammen anhört erinnert einen das schon fast an eine Oper, oder Filmmusik. Das andere ist eine Flöte (wenn, dann auch zusätzlich gedacht). Ich kann das aber im Moment selber nicht merh beurteilen, da ich es inzwischen zu oft gehört hab. Brauche da mal ein paar Tage dazwischen.
